Nayantara Mazumder spent eleven years at the Editorial and Op-ed pages of The Telegraph, Calcutta, where she wrote on women, children, government policy and cultural issues. She also reviewed music and books for the paper, with a focus on fiction, feminist theory, biographies and women/PoC writers. She was guest editor at The Remnant Archive, a digital journal of features on literature, art and history, and has written narrative pieces for Mint Lounge andThe Telegraph Online — My Kolkata.
On her own time, she writes fiction and poetry. At present, she is senior consultant with Allcap Communications, wants to befriend every cat and dog she meets, and is trying her best to get through her TBR list while also writing her book.
